Pre-Conference Sessions

Three Pre-Conference Sessions are held on the day before of each Firearms Industry Compliance Conference. They are expansive, 2.5 hour learning tracks that provide FFLs and SOTs with a deep level of understanding on a given topic. Courses are delivered by a cross section of Federal Regulatory Agencies (e.g,. ATF), Orchid Advisors / NSSF experts and industry FFL members.     The most attended session of the 2017 FICC was delivered by Alphoso Hughes, Chief of the NFA Division.   2. An Immersion Course into the World of Firearms Compliance (ATF, Import / Export, State, NFA)

    A Focused Session That Will Teach You Exactly Which Regs Apply and What They MeanAre you a new FFL / SOT?  Or, do you have new employees who function in an role that is touched by firearm regulations? If so, then this course is for you. It is a focusses session that walks manufacturers, distributors, import / exporters and retails through the world of firearms compliance. Included in the session will be an overview of pertinent ATF, State, Import / Export regulations, NFA firearms, licensing and forms, electronic record keeping technology and preparing for ATF inspections.

  3. Creating Manufacturing ERP System Controls That Drive Firearm Compliance
    Large FFL, 2:00 – 4:30, May 16
     

    If you run a high volume, repetitive firearm manufacturing operation, manage compliance or responsible for integrating business and regulatory software – this is your session.
